The Art Reproduction Process

We can either scan your original artwork or print direct from a digital file you supply us. Our studio is set up to scan original flat artworks up to a maximum size of 1550mm x 2500mm. A Digital file will be supplied to you at 300dpi – this will enable your image to be re-produced at the original full size if required. If you would also like a smaller size file for web/social media use, please request this when you order. Once your original artwork has been scanned we supply you with a digital file onto a usb stick.

The Maximum width we can print onto fine art paper is 1110mm (inc. border). Our current fine art paper selection is: Sonata Textured 300gsm, Expressions Smooth 300gsm, Fine art Contour 310gsm or Somerset Velvet 330gsm.

We also print onto fine art canvas. Fine Art Matte Canvas is made of natural fibres and we apply a liquid gloss varnish to the face for protection. We mount onto MDF board if required or arrange ‘wooden/box stretching’.

All Fine Art Papers and canvas’ used are ‘archival’ quality. The Fine Art printing process is also know Giclee.
